So its finally done, a little sticky but done. (I may add a little more varnish because as I was putting the final loop on some silver came off on my finger, tis the bottom bit ~sigh~) made from fimo, painted with enamel paint, silver plated jump loops and wire, real swartz crystal (or whatever they're called). I may change the chain when I've finished the NORA necklace cos I know its supposed to have a more delicate chain than the bulky thing I'm using currently. I was going to ad rhinestones to the top loop like on the official piece, but when I added a few I discovered just how cheap and tacky rhinestones can look when added to silver painted Fimo (I pulled them off quickly.) Would I do it again? Maybe, but it would probably be a pricey comission, say £20-25. It was so dam fiddly to make and the materials were quite pricey and a pain to get hold of.
Things I've learnt; you've got to go slow to go fast, silver enamel paint does not come off with soap and water, I <3 Tarp replacement, and always turn on the extractor fan when your using solvent based paints.
Now, time to go check on old NORA
